North Reading Police Arrest Man for 6th OUI Offense
NORTH READING — Police Chief Michael P. Murphy reports that the North Reading Police Department arrested a man last evening and charged him with his 6th offense of Operating under the Influence of Alcohol.
Late Thursday evening, police were dispatched to a restaurant on Main Street for a report of an intoxicated male leaving and getting into a car. An officer arrived a short time later and found a vehicle matching the description of the one the alleged intoxicated person got into. The vehicle was pulling out of the parking lot, heading southbound on Main Street, which is also Route 28. The officer was able to stop the vehicle and the operator was determined to be under the influence of alcohol.
THOMAS FRAWLEY, AGE 65, OF NAPLES, Fla. was arrested and charged with:
- Marked Lanes Violation
- Operating under the Influence of Alcohol (Sixth Violation)
FRAWLEY was held on $2,000 bail and will be arraigned Friday morning in Woburn District Court.
