Arlington Police Searching for Missing Woman Donna Sharff
Arlington — Chief Frederick Ryan reports that the Arlington Police Department is actively searching for Donna Sharff, who has been missing since yesterday, and is seeking the public’s help in determining her whereabouts.
On June 29, at approximately 5:25 p.m., police were notified of a missing person. A coworker reported that Sharff had not come to work and was concerned.
Arlington Police responded to Sharff’s home and found the residence to be vacant. All of Sharff’s belongings were inside, and her vehicle was parked outside the house.
Police contacted area hospitals, checked public and medical transport records, conducted a search of businesses and canvassed the neighborhood in an attempt to locate Sharff. The Arlington Fire Department deployed its Fire/Rescue Boat on Spy Pond and Elizabeth Island, while the Arlington Police Department’s K-9 unit conducted a search on land surrounding the water. Chief Ryan also authorized an aerial search by the Massachusetts State Police Air Wing, but all efforts thus far have been unsuccessful in locating Sharff.
Sharff is a 56-year-old white woman, who is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 pounds, with blonde/gray hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who has seen Sharff, or with information regarding her whereabouts, is asked to immediately contact the Arlington Police Department at 781-643-1212.
