Littleton Police Arrest Man for Indecent Assault and Indecent Exposure
LITTLETON — Chief Matthew King reports that the Littleton Police Department arrested a man today for indecently exposing himself to employees at a gas station in town.
DAVID S. MELO, AGE 36, OF MARLBOROUGH is charged with:
- Indecent Assault and Battery on a Person 14 or Over
- Indecent Exposure
- Disorderly Conduct
On March 18, around 8:20 a.m., a police officer responded to the Citgo gas station, 256 Ayer Road, on a report that a white male was exposing himself in the parking lot.
Upon arrival, police entered the Citgo station to speak with the clerk, who stated that an employee at the doughnut shop inside the station was touched inappropriately by a male customer.
Police then spoke with the alleged victim who said the man had grabbed her buttocks. According to witnesses, the man then left the store and returned to the vicinity of his car where he pulled down his pants and exposed his buttocks several times, including to an employee who was taking out the trash.
Police located the suspect, identified as MELO, who was still in the parking lot, and arrested him.
