Natick Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Convenience Store
NATICK — Chief James G. Hicks reports that the Natick Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at Honey Farms early this morning.
At approximately 5:30 a.m., police responded to a report that a male entered the Honey Farms on Main Street and stated that he had a gun, demanding money. No weapon was shown, and no one was injured in the incident.
The suspect fled the store on foot with a small amount of cash. He is described as a white male, roughly 20-30 years old, with facial hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and black and white sneakers, and spoke English with no discernible accent.
A search of the area was conducted with the assistance of a K-9 unit, but was unsuccessful.
“This is an open and active investigation,” Chief Hicks said. “We are urging anyone who may have seen something related to this robbery or who recognizes the suspect to please contact the Natick Police.”
Anyone with information on the suspect or further information regarding the robbery is asked to call the Natick Police Department Detective Division at 508-647-9520. Residents may also report anonymously using the department’s online reporting system here. Please refer to: 16-1-OF.
