Bedford Police Searching for Suspects Involved In Vandalizing Cars at High School
BEDFORD — Chief John Bryfonski reports that the Bedford Police Department is looking for two suspects involved in the vandalism of multiple cars parked at Bedford High School last week.
Police received a report that two cars parked overnight at the high school, 47 Nashua Road, on Oct. 25 had their windows smashed out. No property was reported missing from either vehicle.
Two suspects, both wearing either hooded sweatshirts or jackets with the hoods covering their heads, were seen in surveillance footage exiting an older style white Ford Explorer. Based on physical appearances, police determined the driver of the SUV is likely a man and the passenger, a woman.
It also appears the vehicle may have a Massachusetts inspection sticker and license plate. The driver side door handle looks black or broken, in clear contrast to the rest of the vehicle.
“These suspects acted maliciously, with no regard for the personal property of others,” Chief Bryfonski said. “We are actively searching for the vehicle and two individuals involved in this incident, and we hope that someone will recognize their vehicle and come forward.”
Anyone with information, or who may be able to identify the vehicle, is asked to call the Bedford Police Department at 603-472-5113.
