North Reading Police Arrest Alleged Drug Dealer After Investigation
NORTH READING — Chief Michael P. Murphy reports that the North Reading Police Department on Wednesday arrested an alleged drug dealer after a thorough investigation by North Reading Police Detectives.
ALEX E. CORES, AGE 26, OF WOBURN was arrested shortly after 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and charged with:
- Distribution of a Class D Substance (Marijuana) (Three Counts)
- Distribution of a Class C Substance (Hash Oil)
All four charges are felonies.
“This arrest comes after a detailed, diligent investigation by North Reading Police Detectives, and I am pleased that it has come to a successful conclusion,” Chief Murphy said.
CORES was held at the North Reading Police Department pending his arraignment Thursday in Woburn District Court.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
