Arlington Police Seek the Public’s Help Identifying Indecent Assault Suspect
ARLINGTON — Police Chief Frederick Ryan reports that the Arlington Police Department is investigating an indecent assault that occurred late Wednesday night and are releasing a composite sketch of the suspect.
Arlington Police responded to the area of the Minuteman Bikeway near the intersection Summer and Mill Streets on Wednesdayevening, to investigate a reported indecent assault that occurred at approximately 10:30 p.m.
The victim told officers that they were walking in the area when a man came up from behind them and grabbed them by the arms and indecently assaulted them.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, in his 30s or 40s, or possibly older, with average build. He has short black hair that was combed back and a thin mustache. He was wearing a leather jacket and blue jeans, and the victim said that the attacker smelled of alcohol at the time.
The victim was able to run away from the attacker.
Anyone who may recognize this suspect is asked to call Arlington Police at 781-643-1212 or call Inspector Brian Fennelly at 781-316-3918. All callers may remain anonymous.
Arlington Police would like to thank Sketch Artist Ian Spencer of The Lincoln Police Department for the drawing of the suspect.
