We offer our most sincere condolences to the family of Fire Chief Rick Winkles, who died in the line of duty this week during a structure fire.
According to KAIT-TV, Chief Winkles suffered a heart attack while fighting a fire on Tuesday afternoon in Trumann, Ark., where he had been chief for several years.
Chief Winkles, 53, served for nearly 28 years.
