  • A 16-YEAR-OLD MALE FROM LAWRENCE

The three juveniles also had outstanding warrants out of Lawrence Juvenile Court.

Around noon today, Andover Police responded to the area of Stirling Street on a report that several individuals dressed in dark clothing and wearing hoodies were breaking into cars.

Upon arrival, police located five male suspects attempting to break into motor vehicles in the driveway of a home, who immediately fled on foot.

Andover Police Officers pursued the suspects on foot and were able to apprehend one of the juvenile suspects, while the remaining ran into a swamp adjacent to the Stirling Street neighborhood.

The North Andover Police K-9 unit responded to the scene, and following a search, police located the remaining four suspects. They were transported, booked and held at the Andover Police Station pending their arraignment at Lawrence District Court and Lawrence Juvenile Court.
